Safe Anchor Storage in Deer Isle, Maine is expanding to meet demand with 16 new heavy-duty drive-up storage units arriving soon.
These all-steel storage units provide convenient ground-level access and are ideal for both household and equipment storage.

Small 5×10 – Climate-Controlled
Our 5×10 (50 sq ft) climate-controlled storage units are one of the more popular sizes for people of all storage needs. These units will hold the amount of items in a small bedroom, office, or shed. You can fit a lot more than you think in this size of unit if you pack it right. 5×10 units are ideal for boxes, mattresses, business inventory, seasonal décor, instruments, and more. This size is for you if you have some boxes, a few small pieces of furniture and a handful of other miscellaneous items. All sizes are approximate.
Medium 10×10 – Climate-Controlled
Our 10×10 (100 sq ft) climate-controlled units are about half the size of a one car garage and are ideal for storing any typical household items like multiple sets of bedroom or living room furniture, small and large tools, appliances, seasonal items, chairs, boxes, and more. The contents of a 12-foot moving truck will fit in a 10×10 storage unit. All our units are around 8 feet in height. All sizes are approximate.
Large 10×20 – Climate-Controlled
Our 10×20 (200 sq ft) climate-controlled storage units are some of our largest units and can fit the contents of up to a four-bedroom home. These units can hold multiple sets of household furniture including king-sized beds and large couches and sofas, patio furniture, multiple appliances, and more. Many businesses also opt for a 10×20 for their storage needs. We even have a few 10×30 climate-controlled units! All sizes are approximate.
Interior Storage
Our interior storage units offer easy access and added security for your storage needs. These units are located inside one of our 7 secure buildings with keypad building access and individually locked units.
Small 5×10 – Interior Storage
Our 5×10 (50 sq ft) interior storage units will hold the amount of items in a small bedroom, office, or shed. This size is for you if you have some boxes, a few small pieces of furniture and a handful of other miscellaneous items. All sizes are approximate.

These units are also ideal for storing larger equipment and tools like ladders or home gym equipment. If you’re using a 16-foot moving truck or moving things from a small, one-car garage, this is likely the size storage unit you would need. All sizes are approximate.
Large 10×20 – Interior Storage
Our 10×20 (200 sq ft) interior storage units are some of our largest units and can fit the contents of up to a four-bedroom home. These units can hold multiple sets of household furniture including king-sized beds and large couches and sofas, patio furniture, multiple appliances, and more. Drive- Up Storage
Our drive-up storage units provide the ultimate in convenience and accessibility. Simply pull your vehicle directly to your storage unit door for easy loading and unloading.
We offer both traditional drive-up storage units and heavy-duty steel storage units designed for durable, ground-level access.
